As you may know, I was never able to get Web Tattoo to install into IE7. Something I have done during the removal of it and Fast Browser Search from Firefox somehow causes the install file to crash when I tried to install it in IE7. This is fine for me, but because I never could get MakeTheWebBetter installed in IE7 or IE8, I couldn’t figure out how to uninstall it and tell you how.
Over on a google forum is a link to my first post on removing Fast Browser Search from Firefox. So I subscribed to that thread and today when I checked my e-mail, I found this in it, how to remove Fast Browser Search from IE7 & IE8

Kundan555 has posted an answer to the question “How do I remove “Fast Browser Search”?”:
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE FOR IE8 AND IE7.
=================================================================
Please uninstall fast browser from the program and features in vista and, add and remove program in XP. Then
To fix the new tab issue you need to be comfortable using regedit. Run regedit and navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs
under Tabs, clear the fastwebsearch junk and input the following as value data:
res://ieframe.dll/tabswelcome.htm or any entry related with fastbrowser listed over there.
close and restart IE.
I have been unable to verify this, however my knowledge of the registry tells me this could fix it and would be worth trying. Just be CAREFUL any time you run regedit. Messing around in the registry could really bork your system.

Trying to remove the Fast Web search bar due to the facebook issue I do not see or have a tab, and nothing in there says anything about fastweb junk.,….
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs
under Tabs,
I have tried everything. I removed uninstalled it, but my regedit entries are already correct. There isn’t anything with fast browser search in there. What else can I try short of zapping my machine?
I was able to remove it this was. The fast browser link was right there in Tabs attribute.
Thx a mil.
Thank you so much! I have been trying to get this removed for months! This is the only way that I found that worked!!!!!

After allowing Facebook to install some ridiculous software application to my iMac, it maliciously installed some kind of spyware browser and hid in my Mozilla up until now. I searched and SEARCHED for months through and through all over the web on solutions to get rid of of that annoying Fast Browser Search to no avail. Ive tried all the other suggested fixes from all the other forums and it only got rid of the Tool Bar. I also tried removing it from my Add On and Extensions yet it was still there lurking in the shadows. I will never install anything else from Facebook ever again. I finally found the correct way to remove it permanently from Firefox. Its quite simple.
First, type “about:config” in URL address bar.
A big warning window will appear advising you to be careful.
Ignore the warning and click on the “I’ll be careful, I promise” button.
Then type “fast” in the location or filter window.
Right click or control/click on the configurations that appear to be Fast Browser Search and click RESET.
This should reset Google back to your default browser.
